Shuttle racking system is a high density storage system. It is developed on the traditional drive-in rack. Thus it has all the advantages of drive-in rack. Shuttle racking system combines rack, shuttle cart and forklift, greatly improving warehouse space utilization to 80%.
Shuttle racking techinical features:
1. When stocking goods, forklift puts the pallet in the front of rack guide rail, then operate radio shuttle cart to take the pallet to the other end of the guide rail;
2. When picking up goods, shuttle radio takes the pallet in the guide rail to the front and forklift does not need to enter the lane;
3. FILO and FIFO of cargo are available for shuttle racking;
4. Shuttle instead of forklift is used to pick up goods, more efficiency than standard pallet rack;
5. Shuttle racking is suitable for storing goods of large qyantity, especislly cold storage.
